A Magyar Lobbiba mindenki CSAK ÖNMAGA iratkozhat fel! A feliratkozás az alábbi cimen történik. Ezen a cimen megismerhetik lobbink 1,6OO résztvevöjének müködési módszereit és korábbi akcióit is:

AKCIÓNK AZ AMERIKAI ELNÖKVÁLASZTÁS ALKALMÁNAK FELHASZNÁLÁSÁRA KISEBBSÉGEINK ÉRDEKÉBEN
Tisztelt Lobbi Társaim!
EZ EBBEN AZ ÉVBEN A LEGFONTOSSABB AKCIÓNK!!
Akciónk jelentösége miatt, ezen a héten más témával nem is foglalkozunk. Kivételesen nem csak azt kérem, hogy a Magyar Lobbink minden Amerikában élö résztvevöje küldje el az alábbi levelet, hanem azt is, hogy nyomtassa ki és amikor legközelebb templomba vagy más összejövetelre megy (NEM CSAK MAGYARBA, BÁRHOVÁ!), helyezze el ezt a két levelet (TÖBB PÉLDÁNYBAN) a hirdetö táblán, hogy aki egyetért célunkkal, annak csak le kelljen venni egyet, aláirni és elküldeni.
A Magyar Lobbi 1,6OO résztvevöje közül azokat akik nem az Egyesült Államokban laknak nem csak arra kérem, hogy továbbitsák ezt a felhivásunkat az Egyesült Államokban élö rokonaihoz, ismeröseihez, de azt is, hogy otthoni ismeröseiket is kérjék erre. Különösen kérem azokat, akik rádiónál vagy TV-knél dolgoznak, hogy mondassák be honlapunk cimét ( hogy onnan bárki levehesse ezt a körlevelet.
Az elnök jelölteknek minden olyan kérést vagy témát jelentenek, melyben az elözö 24 órában legalább 1,OOO levél érkezett. Utóljára Illiescu-nak a Fehér Házban jártakor értük el ezt a számot. Kisebbségbe szakadt testvéreink megérdemlik, hogy most megtizszerezzük azt!

Dear Senator McCain,
One of the issues that the 1.5 million Hungarian Americans are concerned about is the future of one of Europe's largest minorities, that of the 3 million or so Hungarians. These people became minorities without leaving their towns or villages, because the borders been redrawn around them at the time when the Kingdom of Hungary was dismembered in 1920. Even during Soviet occupation, their collective rights to cultural and economic self government were better guaranteed by the puppet governments of Hungary's neighbors than they are today. In many cases, 19 years after the fall of Communism, the church properties, universities, cultural institutions of these minorities have still not been returned, their language and other rights have still not been guaranteed.
We do not ask you Senator McCain to express your views about the second class citizenship of the Hungarian minorities of Europe. What we are asking you is to state the general principles which would guide your administration concerning the collective rights of national minorities anywhere in the world. We believe that standing up for these basic human rights and principles would not only be consistent with America's highest traditions, but would also gain the respect of the world for the United States.
We at the Hungarian Lobby will distribute your answer among all the friends of the Hungarian American community and will make sure that all ethnic groups know, that if they vote for you, their minorities, no matter where they live in the world, will have a friend in the White House and that your foreign policy will support the collective rights of all national minorities to maintain their identity through cultural and economic self rule.
