Az e heti akciónk fontossága miatt más anyagot nem is mellékelek. Teszem ezt annak reményében, hogy igy a Magyar Lobbi M I N D E N résztvevöje, (tehát azok is akik a multban csak kiváncsiságból átfutották heti akció felhivásainkat, de akció-leveleink elküldésére nem vették a fáradtságot), azok is irnak!

Ebben az akciónkban most a szenátorok honlapjainak cimeit adtam meg, mert az ezekre érkezö leveleket a titkárságok összesitik, az olyan kéréseket melyetet illetöen legalább 1OO levél érkezik, jelentik a szenátornak, s azokat a témaköröket, melyekben 1,OOO érkezik felveszik a következö kampány-tárgyalás napirendjére. Ha a Magyar Lobbi tésztvevöinek csak fele elküldi e leveleket, úgy a stratégiai kampány-tárgyalás része lesz akciónk.

Amikor Ön kinyitja a szenátor honlapját (home page-ét), a két szenátor lapjai egy kicsit különböznek:

McCain esetében egy kérdöiv jelenik meg. Ebbe Ön beirja nevét, cimét, majd a "SUBJECT" ablakba bemásolja az Ön által aláirt levél szövegét és amikor elkészült csak rákattint a "Submit" gombra.

Obama esetében egy "Step 1" cimü lap jelenik meg, amin be van jelölve a "Position on an issue". Ezen a lapon (középen alul) rákattint a "Go to step 2" gombra. Mikor megjelenik a Step 2 lap, Ön az "issues" közül rákattint a "Foreign Relations"-ra és jelzi, hogy kiván-e választ levelére, s utána a "Go to Step 3" gombra. Ön itt beirja nevét, cimét, majd a "SUBJECT" ablakba bemásolja az Ön által aláirt levél szövegét és amikor elkészült csak rákattint a "Submit" gombra.

Tudom, egy kicsit hosszadalmas ez a folyamat, de kérem hozza meg az áldozatot ezért a fontos célért. Kérem azt is, hogy a Magyar Lobbi minden résztvevöje irjon, ne csak az amerikai magyarok.

I am asking you to make a statement concerning Russia’s attempts to regain her “greatness” by restoring her hegemony over East-Central Europe. I believe that asking this is justified, because of your Colleague’s, Senator Schumer's June 3rd OP ED article in The Wall Street Journal titled: "Russia Can Be Part of the Answer on Iran". This article suggests that the United States bribe the Russians into joining the sanctions against Iran by allowing the reestablishment of "Russian hegemony over Eastern Europe".

Dear Senator McCain, if you are elected to be the next president of the United States, would you also be willing to compromise US geo-political interests and do business as the Russians do? Mr. Senator, I would like to know if you too would use the future of these much suffered former satellite nations as bargaining chips to gain Russia’ favor ? In short, I would like to know if the American voters of Central European roots can expect a future administration that is willing to appease Russia and allow a new Yalta to emerge under your leadership?

Dear Mr. McCain, I hope that your answer is a resounding NO! I hope that you remember what the people of the Ukraine suffered in 1932, what the Hungarians, the Checks and the Poles did in 1966, 1968 and 1981 to gain their freedom. I hope that you know that they struggled for the same ideals as Americans did so many times in the past. I hope that you will not forget either the present struggle of Belarus, Russia’s fraudulent election sham in March, the gas pipe aiming at economic occupation of Europe or the crackdown on Russia’s pro-democracy opposition.

In short, I hope that you will publicly reassure the American voters that your administration will not allow a new Yalta, will not allow a new wall to be built between East and West.
