Leveleink száma elérte azt a határt, hogy mostantól már külön kategóriában számolják a nemzeti kisebbségek jogaival foglalkozó és az elnökjelöltek álláspontjáról érdeklödö leveleinket. Ezért mindkét a kampányiroda kéri, hogy:
1) A levélben, mindjárt a cim alatt irják be a levélirók a levél témáját, hogy igy könnyebb legyen a beérkezö levelek megszámolása, ugyanis az iroda alkalmazottainak nem kell mindegyiket elolvasniuk. Ezért az alábbi formalevelekbe a cim alá beirtuk, hogy:

2) Azt is javasolják, hogy rendes postán és tintával aláirva küldjék a a lobbi résztvevöi a leveleket, mert az E-mailek megbizhatatlanok, azokkal sok a visszaélés.
Végül kérem, hogy az akciónkban résztvevök az alábbi formalevelek lesokszorositott másolatait helyezzék el templomaik és egyleteik hirdetötábláin (nem csak magyarokon, mindenütt), hogy igy azok is aláirhassák és elküdhessék, akik nem résztvavöi a Magyar Lobbinak.

Dear Senator McCain,
One of the issues that the Hungarian Americans are concerned about is the future of one of Europe's largest minorities, that of the 3 million or so Hungarians. These people became minorities without leaving their towns or villages, because the borders been redrawn around them at the time when the Kingdom of Hungary was dismembered in 1920. Even during Soviet occupation, their collective rights to cultural and economic self government were better guaranteed by the puppet governments of Hungary's neighbors than they are today. In many cases, 19 years after the fall of Communism, the church properties, universities, cultural institutions of these minorities have still not been returned, their language and other rights have still not been guaranteed.
We do not ask you Senator McCain to express your views about the second class citizenship of the Hungarian minorities of Europe. What we are asking you is to state the general principles which would guide your administration concerning the collective rights of national minorities anywhere in the world. We believe that standing up for these basic human rights and principles would not only be consistent with America's highest traditions, but would also gain the respect of the world for the United States.
We at the Hungarian Lobby will distribute your answer among all the friends of the Hungarian American community and will make sure that all ethnic groups know, that if they vote for you, their minorities, no matter where they live in the world, will have a friend in the White House and that your foreign policy will support the collective rights of all national minorities to maintain their identity through cultural and economic self rule.
