Hey everyone:)

My name is Hana Bencikova and I am studying Intercultural Communication and Intercultural training, therefore I am becoming more and more interested in the situation between hungarians and slovakians…

My mother grew up in Dunajska Streda (Dunaszerdahelyi járás)and my grandparents live in Levice, where lot of people use more hungarian than slovakian language.
My biological great-grandfather was called MAGYAR but he ditched my great-grandmother and she remaried. Thats why my surname is different.

So, there is a line connecting me with hungarian nation and its culture. The reason why am I writing this is becase everything I have heard about the situation was from slovak perspective. I would love to hear also opinions of Hungarians', is there any conflict to be solved?
Should we start learning young hungarians and slovakians to understand each other's culture?

I welcome all your thoughts and opinions.
