Mix one egg and one cup of water with about two cups of flour. Add
more flour while mixing so that the dough becomes semi hard. Use a
noodle cutter to cut the noodles into boiling water. Cook them until
ready (5 or 7 minutes). (The noodle cutter is something like a pasta
strainer, but has a flatt bottom with holes that are the size of a
penny. We put the dough in and push it through the holes into
boiling water with a spatula. If the dough is too hard, it cooks in
the noodle cutter. If it is too soft, though, the whole dough will
flow through the holes and turn into mush in the boiling water.)
