Hungarian Genealogia

Every year more and more people are finding the excitement and interest of tracing their family history. In researching ancestors one should start research-work by collecting facts known by relatives. Then, one can carry on research in institutions where public data, registers or the copy of these can be found. GENEALOGY is an investigation during which the researcher deals with birth, marriage and death registers and the indices of them. He or she may get acquainted with last-wills, censuses of noble people and of bourgeois, special literature of Genealogy and with several other church and archive sources. Following this road the researcher will, with some luck and a lot of research work of feverish activity, and of excitement, be able to construct his family-tree back two or three centuries.

Magyar Genealógia

Evente egyre több ember találja meg a saját családja történetének kutatásában rejlő izgalmat és egyre többen érdeklődnek családjuk múltja, származása iránt. Mindazok számára, akik most kezdenek először foglalkozni az ősök kutatásával, az a javaslatunk, hogy a rokonok által ismert tények összegyűjtésével kezdjék a munkát, a kutatást. Csak ezt követően tanácsos azokban az intézményekben kutatást folytatni, ahol a nyilvános adatok, anyakönyvek vagy másolataik stb megtalálhatók. A GENEALóGIA, egy olyan nyomozás, melynek során a kutató személy születési-, házassági-, halotti anyakönyvekkel, azok index-eivel foglalkozik, Végrendeletekkel, nemesi és polgári népszámlálásokkal, Genealógia szakirodalmi munkákkal, és számos egyéb egyházi és levéltári adat forrással ismerkedhet. Ezen az úton egy kis szerencsével és számos izgalmas és lázas kutatómunka után a kutató talán képes lesz két-három évszázadra visszamenően felállítania családfáját.
