Experts find nonsensical the statements of the government.

In spite of the opinion of the Ministry of the Interior Balázs Horváth MP
(Hungarian Democratic Forum), former Minister of the Interior, and
Sebestyén Gorka, expert of security policy maintain that a serious wave
of refugees can be expected in Hungary in the near future.
In recent days Mónika Lamperth, Minister of the Interior has expressed
her opinion several times that no serious migrations can be expected
because of the Iraqi war. Colonel Ottó Dzsupin, head of the Defence
Office of the Ministry of the Interior told Magyar Nemzet that it seemed
the refugees stopped in camps of countries neighbouring Iraq while András
Tóth, state secretary of national security services said it could take
3-4 weeks until the number of refugees increased slightly. Balázs
Horváth, former Minister of the Interior expressed his doubts as the
shortest way of the refugees leads through Hungary to the west, pointing
out the absurdity of the Hungarian position when Iraqi soldiers seek for
refuge here who may be counted as war criminals from the US point of
view. Sebestyén Gorka, expert of security policy finds it unimaginable
that Iraqi refugees could be contained in the region reminding of the
fact that after the Afghan war the number of refugees increased
drastically and the wave of Iraqi refugees will reach the
Hungarian-Ukrainian border, among them criminals and men of the Iraqi
secret service. He said to Magyar Nemzet the United States of America
bears responsibility for subsequent costs as the propagator of war.
