Tisztelt Lobbi Társaim!

Az Amerikai Választások folyamán lobbink mindkét célját elérte:

a) Mindkét elnök-jelölt táborában tudatositottuk, hogy létezik egy olyan magyar szavazó-tömb, mely a párt és ideológiai lojalitások fölé emelkedve, arra szavaz aki többet tesz a magyarságért, ez a tömb szerveződik és kezd ütőképessé válni.

b) Másik célunk az volt, hogy a képviselőház Hungarian American Caucusát (Magyar Amerikai Frakcióját) támogassuk, annak tagjaiban tudatositsuk, hogy az abban dolgozó képviselők, a választások idején számithatnak az mi támogatásunkra.

NAGY ÖRÖMMEL JELENTHETEM, HOGY A CAUCUS MIND A 16 TAGJA GYŐZÖTT, s az általunk legaktivabban támogatott társelnökei a Caucusnak elsöprő fölénnyel győztek:

Dear HL Member,

We were successful, we have reached both our goals:

a) We have convinced both presidential candidates that there exists a block of Hungarian-American voters who are willing to cross party lines, if that is what it kakes to protect the rights of the Hungarian minorities in Europe. Your advertisements and letters showed that this block of voters is growing and will be even stronger in the future.

b) Our second goal was to reelect every member of the Hungarian American Caucus in Congress, so that they will know that at election time they can benefit from the hard work thez do in supporting our causes, that it means votes for them.

I am very glad to report that with our determined support ALL 16 MEMBERS OF THE CAUCUS been reelected. As our support was particularly concentrated on the reelection of the two co-chairman of the Caucus, it gives us particular pleasure to report their overwhelming success: Tom Lantos – 68%, Christopher Shays – 54%.

Please TAKE THE TIME TO CONGRATULATE THEM and in your letters please state that you are an HL member, who supported them, because of their work in the Caucus. Please also congratulate the other members of the Caucus, who are listed below:
